Uncanny X-Force #2 review

It's been almost two months since #1, but the second issue of Uncanny X-Force certainly delivers!

Once again, each character has some excellent moments in the spotlight, including the conversations between Wolverine and Angel, the touching moment between Warren and Betsy, and rapport between Fantomex and Deadpool. The issue is told from Psylocke's perspective (as #1 was from Fantomex's), and Remender delves into what she deals with, and what she knows she could face in the future. He clearly understands these characters.

The artwork was of a very high standard, courtesy of Jerome Opena, although there was a lot happening in some of the fight scenes. I really hope the lateness of this issue doesn't delay the following issues to an almost bi-monthly schedule, as Opena's designs of the Final Horseman leaves me wanting to see more! It's genuinely hard to choose which Horseman is the creepiest.

Overall, a very entertaining and exciting issue. 4.5 out of 5.
